Challenge
The Lexington Country Club was ready for a stately new logo and needed to coordinate their print materials and embroidery projects.

Their 100th anniversary provided added incentive to get the job done.

Designing a new logo for an old and respected establishment always presents a different challenge to a designer. The feel must be new but the history of the place cannot be discounted in any way.
Solution
It has to say town and country easy elegance. But with an historic feel. The typeface does most of the work here. But the crest offers more information about their full identity.
