Shelf Plus is a perfect example of what can happen when a great marketing mind understands what needs to be said to the potential customer. This company owner knows what is essential to a sale. My assignment was to be certain the name was easy to find if someone went looking, easy to remember and to that buyers would connect the name with the benefits of the available products through the advertising style and content.
A strong and simple logo with a power-packed print ad campaign got things really moving. Within two years of tackling the new identity and from-scratch advertising this local company has gone national. Sales for the Lexington location are second for all Kardex(R) dealers in the nation. The only dealer with larger sales is located in one of the largest industrial markets in the country.
The owners worked directly with me to get concepts through to completed ads. Since he conveyed his wishes very well, the results are usually a thumbs up with very little tweeking.
