Community Bank of Lexington was a start-up project. In my opinion the identity for a totally new bank would become critical to its reception.
Assuming there would be a very limited budget for advertising and marketing, I put a very unique spin on the identity. I made the logo the strongest marketing tool I could think of.Since the bank name was focused on the community aspect, it was imperative the mark convey a positive and personal feeling to each and every viewer. I cannot think of any gesture more appropriate to that end than a handshake.The mark was loved by patrons and the bank management equally.
This logo design project was solo.
